Appassimento” is a traditional winemaking method, where the grapes are left to dry in the Italian sun. The grapes are then handpicked and a wine is crafted displaying great concentration of flavour.
Tasting Notes:
Serve between 16°C – 18°C
The wine has balanced oak characters with notes of mature dark cherries, plum and milk chocolate with Madagascan vanilla. The intense flavours give way to a long, lingering finish.
Pairing Notes:
Pairs well with red meats like beef and lamb as well as pasta dishes.
