Cortese di Gavi, or simply Gavi, is an Italian white wine produced in Piemonte close to the Ligurian border. Cortese di Gavi made from grapes within the commune of Gavi may be labelled Gavi di Gavi. Gavi is often called the Chablis of Italy due to its steely, minerally flavour.
